• what do you like?  i like to draw, swim and exercise, spend time with my family. i enjoy hanging out with my younger siblings, they’re my best friends. i like to drink tea and go out shopping and eating in cafes and sitting in coffee shops. i also really love traveling to different places. it inspires me quite a lot! i love going to movies and picnics and festivals. also finding cool clothes and making a fun outfit. i don’t have a boyfriend so, i hang out with my sister and we do shopping dates & go out for frozen yogurt.
• what do you do? besides making graphics for this blog, i like to collect things (i actually collect littlest pet shops - these bobblehead toys. i’ve been for about seven years now, i have over 1800 of them. i also have a heath ledger collection and an owl city collection). as of recently i work, actually, at abercrombie and fitch. during the summer i like coming home to hang out with my old high school friends and driving on the backroads to different small towns and turning up our music as loud as it goes. bonfires and get togethers and park visits and picnics are my best friends. i’m stupid and awkward and clumsy sometimes and i have the worst social anxiety you could imagine. i have self conscious problems and i’m not really too ashamed to admit that. i’ve always put others before myself, that’s just always been the way it is and i think it’ll always be that way.
• how old are you? i’m eighteen, going on nineteen on june 18. i’m extremely tiny for my age. like honestly if you saw me in real life you’d think i was sixteen or something. i’m 5’3. but it’s fine to be small and look young i guess - isn’t it?
• what grade are you in? i’m a sophomore in college. i major in psychology (i can read people very well) and pre-dentistry. i want to be an orthodontist one day; making the world a prettier place with prettier smiles, as cheesy as that sounds. i started off majoring in biology, but that’s a different story. :x i’m a really different sort of college student. i’ve never had a drop of alcohol, though i do go to the parties to dress up and awkwardly have a glass of water. i don’t like the party scene. i’m a real shy girl so i tend to stay away from all that.
• do you have a facebook? alright well here’s the deal with that. i had mine for about four years and then in october of last year i got really sick of everyone knowing where i was, what i was doing, what i looked like, what my friends were saying and feeling like i was obligated to put up statuses. so i deleted it and i’ve been a lot happier than i was. i might get it back one day, and when i do i’ll let ya know, but for now i’m a tumblr girl (thankfully). i do have a twitter but i only use it to get adam’s updates sent to my phone. that’s kind of a useless website to me as well to be honest.
• how do you make your graphics? a program called GIMP, actually. it’s nothing like photoshop, i’m sure it can’t compare, but at the moment it’s all i’ve got. i try my best to color everything and make it as nice as i can. i’m also an artist, i draw japanese anime, so i think some of my creative abilities transfer from paper to computer program a lot of the time. if you’d like a picture to be edited or a graphic to be made, even a wallpaper, please don’t hesitate to ask!
• where are you from? i’m from good ol’ illinois, usa. smack dab in the middle of the country. literally all corn and beans and other crops. a boring, flat state..but we do have chicago up north. a gorgeous city i visit quite often actually, i might end up there someday if my california dream doesn’t turn out!
• what music do you listen to? well not owl city, that’s for sure! ;) haha i really like alternative, some older country, some newer pop. just a mix of genres. i’ve seen a fair amount of people in concert.
• where do you get your pictures?  everywhere. and no, literally, i mean everywhere. (none of them are mine unless stated otherwise - just the graphics are mine!) i’ve had an adam young / owl city folder for about four years now and the pictures are piled up and sorted into specific folders for me to go to and i just browse through there. i get a lot of concert pictures from flickr, and the others come from random places off the internet or something. if you want to know where a certain picture comes from, i can do my best to help dig through my collection and the internet to help find the source. or i might remember where i got it originally, it just depends! ask anyway (:
