“There isn’t a specific place
that I go to and return from,
but it’s like some sort of
state of conscious dreaming."

-Adam Randal Young
Or My Framework Snaps

In the original version of “Sailboats” which was put out under his side project Seagull Orchestra, in the end (the Audrey Hepburn verse), he says,

“Built in 1964, an actress ran on the shore, (sailboats wish that they were stars), dancing slow and in turn, I love you Audrey Hepburn. Steal your statue back and we’ll fall in love.”

Now, in 2009 Adam submitted a list of his top favorite movies to Newbury Comics, and the list went as follows:

1. Watership Down (1978) (side note: this is also a movie that makes him cry)

2. Laura (1944)

3. The Awful Truth (1937)

4. Bringing up Baby (1938)

5. How To Steal A Million (1966)

Instead of “sometimes I can see your face in the crowd,” which Adam says in the Sky Sailing version, he says, “steal your statue back and we’ll fall in love.” “Steal your statue back and we’ll fall in love” is refering to one of the aforementioned Adam Young’s favorite movies, How To Steal A Million, starring Audrey Hepburn. The movie involves Audrey’s character trying to steal a forged statue back from the museum in which her father had sold it to; hence the phrase. (: You learn something new every day!
